NATIONAL AFFAIRS

• India and 6G: India has endorsed the “Call to Action for 6G Leadership and Security”, highlighting its commitment to secure and resilient next-generation communication networks.

• Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026: The 9th Rashtriya Poshan Maah was launched on 9 September 2026. The campaign focuses on dietary diversity, adequate protein intake and nutritious meals.

• India–Morocco Defence Cooperation: India and Morocco held their first Joint Defence Committee meeting in New Delhi to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation.

• India–China Relations: India-China diplomatic engagement remains in focus ahead of the BRICS Summit, with both countries continuing discussions on bilateral relations and trade.

• SFIO–Xiaomi Case: The Serious Fraud Investigation Office has recommended a detailed investigation into Xiaomi India over alleged financial and foreign investment-related irregularities.
