She lures him upto the extent that he doesn’t care of the height and begins to fall downwards. On the air he feels the pressure and starts flapping his wings and starts flying. He continuously flies and starts enjoying it. All the family members, one by one begin to fly over him and greet him. Then he is instructed to come to the sea water. LONG ANSWER TYPE QUESTIONS

Q.1. "They were beckoning to him, calling shrilly." Why did the seagull's parents threaten him and cajole him to fly ? Have you ever had a similar experience?

Answer:

Seagull's parents tried everything but he was reluctant to fly for fear of falling. He looked at his brothers and sisters but he couldn't make any effort. That's why the whole family had left him alone and threatened him and joined him to come but all efforts went in vain.

Yes, everyone experiences these situations at least once in their life. I have had this experience when I started walking for the first time with the help of my parents. While walking suddenly they used to leave my hands to make me walk on myself. Also when I was about to learn cycling, I had had these experiences.

Q.2. In the case of a flying bird, it seems to be a natural reaction, with the bottom line that it must be successful. If you had such experiences, was your success guaranteed, even if it was worth trying, despite the fact that you may have failed?

Answer:

We encounter some problems in the first phase while learning a new skill. For fear of failure, we may hesitate to take action or do something new. In case of the seagull, his parents ordered him to fly.

I have had this experience when I started walking for the first time with the help of my parents and when I started learning cycling. It is natural when a child learns to walk on his own. And in case of learning cycling, my father arranged for me to learn to ride a bicycle. So, at that stage, I had to learn cycling as it was very important for me to overcome my fears.

Yes, my success was guaranteed because if a person is willing to do something, success is guaranteed. Moreover, as mentioned, practice  makes a person perfect.
