THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

                                       By Robert Frost

Summary:-

The poem , “The ROAD NOT TAKEN” by Robert Frost is about making choices and the choices that shape us. In this poetry the poet is standing in a place on the way in a yellow wood, from where the road is divided into two directions . The poet is very confused about which road he should select to move forward. Till the end of both of the roads, he tries to see on. After a long waiting , he decided to move on the other road because according to him that decision is fair. The road that he selected was grassy. On the same morning, he finds that the road was in need to be walked by someone . The poet decides to move on the first road some another day, however he doubts that wheather he would ever come back to this place or not. But he finally consoles himself by thinking that in future whenever there would be any need, he would think that once in an wood, the road was divided into directions and he selected the one which was less travelled and that decision which was very uncommon created a great difference in his life. There is a very deep meaning behind the poetry as most of the persons in this world follow the path that is very common, but if one decides to think a little bit different, that decision might generate a different result in the life.
