1. Make in India Completes 12 Years

3. Special Banking Arrangement

4. S. Jaishankar to Address UN General Assembly

The United Forum of Bank Unions has announced a nationwide bank strike from 28 to 30 September 2026. Key demands include a five-day banking week and changes related to the performance-linked incentive system.
8. Jammu & Kashmir Bank to Reduce Stake in PNB MetLife
Jammu & Kashmir Bank has entered into an agreement to sell a 0.5% stake in PNB MetLife for approximately ₹120.10 crore. Following the transaction, its holding is expected to decline from 3.03% to 2.53%.

9. India Wins Shooting Gold at Asian Games
Kamaljeet and Suruchi Inder Singh won the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the 2026 Asian Games. This became India’s second gold medal of the Games and its first shooting gold.
10. India Reaches 19-Medal Mark
India’s medal tally at the 2026 Asian Games reached 19 medals — 2 Gold, 8 Silver and 9 Bronze as of 25 September. India’s position may change as more events are completed.
11. India’s Athletics Success
