The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar has inaugurated the new Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in Gogamukh (Assam).
The name of the institute will be given after Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.

The construction of two tunnels on Indian Military Premises in Dehradun will be inaugurated today( September 28) by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
This inauguration will be done through virtual medium. In the inauguration, the CM of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat will also be present virtually.
A sum of rs. 45 crores have been approved by the central government for the construction of these two tunnels.
