ISRO will launch its Venus mission on 2025

  • ISRO has announced to launch its Venus mission in 2025.

  • The Venus Infrared Atmospheric Gases Linker (VIRAL) co-developed with the Russian federal space agency Roscosmos and LOTMOS atmosphere, environments and  space observations laboratory attached to the French national Scientific research centre CNRS  has been selected by the ISRO.


Adani Green Energy completed an acquisition

  • An acquisition of 205 megawatts operating solar energy assets from Essel Green Energy and Essel infraprojects has been completed by Adani Green Energy.

  • These assets are located in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.

  • Every year, 1 October is observed as International day of Older Persons.

  • In December 14, 1990, the United Nations General Assembly accepted 1 October to be celebrated every year as International day of Older Persons.

  • In Maharashtra, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation started the Mobile Covid Test centres to stop the spread of coronavirus.

  • 12 Buses in the civic  bus transport has been converted into Swab Collection centres with doctors, staff and necessary kits.

  • These buses will move through every zone for aggressive testing.
