The latest data released by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) says that Delhi holds rank 1st in Crimes against women during the year 2019.
Delhi recorded 12,902 cases followed by Mumbai with 6,519 cases.
However, Mumbai got rank 1st in cases of Insult to women's modesty with 575 cases.
Odisha has released 'Jau Kandhei' on 1st October
1 October is celebrated as World Postcard Day and on this occasion, the Chief Postmaster general,Odisha Circle, released a picture of Postcard named Jau Kandhei' on the theme of traditional toys of India.
10 other Postal circles have also released similar postcards on the same theme.
The main objective to release the Postcards on this theme is to promote the artesians making traditional toys in Odisha and also in the other part of India.
A 100-days campaign has launched on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a 100-days campaign has been launched under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The campaign was announced by PM Modi on September 29, 2020.
This 100-days campaign will provide portable piped water supply to the schools and anganwadi centres.
