FIRE AND ICE

Summary:-

The poetry “Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost is about the day when the world will be destroyed . Except it, the poet also wants to provide a hint about the hate spreading in the world . The poet says that he is sure one day the world will definitely be finished but he is confused about the way it will come to an end. The poet supports, at one moment, the person who says that the world will come to an end because of fire. But, Just on another moment, the poet supports the people who think the world will come to an end because of the ice. The poet actually supports the thought of the former mainly as he thinks that this would be the consideration of most of the people. But he notices that the feeling of hatred in this world is increasing so rapidly and continuously. So the poet says that if the world will have to be perished twice, he would like the world to be ended by the ice and this would be sufficient for the world to be destructed twice.

रॉबर्ट फ्रॉस्ट की कविता "फायर एंड आइस" उस दिन के बारे में है जब दुनिया नष्ट हो जाएगी। इसके अलावा, कवि दुनिया में फैल रही नफरत के बारे में भी संकेत देना चाहता है। कवि कहता है कि उसे यकीन है कि एक दिन दुनिया खत्म हो जाएगी, लेकिन वह इस बात को लेकर असमंजस में है कि यह आखिर कैसे होगा। कवि एक पल में उन लोगों को समर्थन करता है, जो कहते हैं कि आग के कारण दुनिया खत्म हो जाएगी। लेकिन, फिर अगले ही क्षण में, कवि उन लोगों का समर्थन करता है जो सोचते हैं कि दुनिया बर्फ के कारण समाप्त हो जाएगी। कवि वास्तव में पूर्व के विचार का मुख्य रूप से समर्थन करता है क्योंकि वह सोचता है कि यह अधिकांश लोगों का विचार होगा। लेकिन उन्होंने नोटिस किया कि इस दुनिया में नफरत की भावना बहुत तेजी से और लगातार बढ़ रही है। तो कवि कहता है कि अगर दुनिया को दो बार खत्म करना होगा, तो वह चाहेगा कि दुनिया बर्फ से खत्म हो जाए और यह दुनिया को दो बार नष्ट करने के लिए पर्याप्त होगा।

Answer:

According to me, the Fire stands for greed, and lust. While the Ice stands for intolerance, indifference and jealousy. These will become the main reason for the end of life.
