  • Suresh Raina is going to open Cricket Academies in Jammu and Kashmir for aspiring cricketers.

  • Raina will set up five academies  to train aspiring cricketers, particularly the youngsters from the remote areas of the Union Territory.


India's biggest film city would be in Noida

  • Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced the setting up of India's biggest and most beautiful film city in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

  • The announcement has been made during a meeting related to development projects of the Meerut Division, comprising Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahar, Baghpat and Gautam Buddha Nagar districts.

  • It was decided after getting the no objection certificate from the central government.

PM laid the foundation for Highway Projects in Bihar

  • Prime minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for 9 Highway projects in Bihar through video conferencing.

  • The total cost for 9 Highway projects is Rs. 14,258 Crore.

  • The highway projects involve a road of length about 350 km with the cost of Rs. 4258 Crore.


Woman officers as 'Observers' in the Helicopter Stream 

  • Two women officers have been selected to join as “Observers” (Airborne Tacticians) in the helicopter stream.

  • They will be the first set  of  women in the history of Indian naval aviation to be at this position. 

  • They are Sub Lieutenant (SLt) Kumudini Tyagi and SLt  Riti Singh.
